Huckabee Says Connecticut School Massacre Occurred Because We 'Removed God From Our Schools' | ThinkProgress:
"Former Arkansas governor and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee attributed today’s deadly massacre in an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut to the lack of God and religion in public schools."

because G-D has been removed from school?
oh G-d! {forgive the pun}
apparently we live in different universes.
in my universe religious men fly airplanes into skyscrapers
even as they pray to G-D,
they wear hoods, and burn crosses even as they burn churches.
in my universe monks set themselves on fire,
priests have sex with children, Imams issue fatwas,
reverends serve poisoned kool-aid, heretics are burned at the stake,
and more people have killed and/or been killed in the name of G-D than for
any other reason (or all other reasons combined)
in my universe prayers and blessings are sprinkled like drops of blood on the heads of holy killers on holy missions to kill men, women and children in holy wars.
Jeeze! pardon me, but children are massacred because
G-D is not allowed in school?
believe this if it comforts you to believe it.
i believe that children are massacred in school because some misguided, sick kid found it easy to get his hands on guns at home. because shooting a semi-automatic pistol is more efficient than swinging a machete, and a lot easier than poisoning a town's water supply.
twenty-seven souls are shot dead in a school. two million guns were sold in the USA
last month, and every month before that for this year alone.
in Car-Parked-on-the-Lawn Land, ANYONE can buy a gun with little more than a wad of wet chewing gum and a NASCAR trading card for ID.
you can blame it on a lack of school prayer if you like,
but me? i'll opt for some serious gun control.
