.I am a Marxist, says Dalai Lama: "'Still I am a Marxist,' the exiled Tibetan Buddhist leader said in New York, where he arrived with an entourage of robed monks and a heavy security detail to give a series of paid public lectures.

Marxism has 'moral ethics, whereas capitalism is only how to make profits,' the Dalai Lama, 74, said on Thursday."

    I'm sad to report that the Dali Lama's way of mixing politics and religion is just as harmful as any other historical example. For over a decade he has systematically been oppressing a segment of his own people, even threatening and encouraging violence against them.
